Join Kathy at the 4 o'clock mass at Holy Trinity Chuch in Wallingford. Meet either before or after the mass at the back of the church (inside). Bowling (Wallingford Bowling 980 No Colony St.)will take place  a 5 min drive north of the church on the same street.  Cost about $15. includes shoes, 2 games of bowling, and dinner choices of hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, chicken strips, and fries, and drink. 


Directions:

From Merritt Rt 15: Exit 66, Turn left down Rt 5. You will see Wallingford Bowl on the left. Church is 5 minutes down the road on right before Gazebo on the green.

From I-91, Exit 13: Turn right and proceed down Rt 5 until you see Church on left after Gazebo. Bowling alley is furhter down on the right.

Sunday,February 19, Peabody Museum of Natural History & Dinner at Glenwood Drive-In, New Haven 2 p.m

Join some of your Credo friends for a private “behind the scenes” tour of the Yale Peabody Museum’s dinosaur collection. Then we’ll head to dinner at the Glenwood Drive-In in Hamden. Our guide is a good friend of Ken’s who works in the education department of the Peabody. Afterwards we can tour the remainder of the museum on our own. We’ll meet in the museum lobby at 2:00 p.m. sharp. Admission will be $4.00 for Credo attendees. The behind the scenes tour is limited to 15 people, so you must email Ken and he will add you to the list on a first come, first serve basis. Glenwood is a counter-serving eatery which features charcoal broiled long hot dogs, hamburgers, French fries, seafood, etc. Ken will be your host, and should be emailed at krmusic2@aol.com as soon as possible, as attendance is limited. It should be a great time and an unusual one at that.

Directions:
Take exit 3 from I-91and go straight at first traffic light, which will be at the end of ramp (that is Trumbull St.). At the next traffic light, turn right & that is Whitney Ave. Proceed about ¼ mile & the museum will be on your left at the corner of Sachem St. You can use on street parking, nearby on Sachem Street or Hillhouse Avenue. There is no meter parking fee on weekends. Or if you prefer, free parking is also available just past the museum, on the left side of Whitney Avenue, in the Yale Lot #22 parking area.

Wednesday, February 22, Holy Family Retrest, West Hartford, 6 - 9 pm

Join Andrea your host for this evening of reflection led by Br. Michael Moran, CP, “Our Lenten Journey: Consumed by God.” For $35 the evening includes dinner as well as the presentation. Credo members will arrive 5:30 and meet to the right of the entry near the bookstore.  People at the front desk will point you in the right direction! 

Directions:

From the West Take I-84 East towards Hartford to Exit 39. As you get off the exit, turn right at the first light onto Route 4 East (Farmington Avenue). At the next light (about 200 yards ahead), turn right onto South Road. Continue down a hill and through the next light. Take the first left after the light onto Middle Road. The retreat house is about one and one-half miles down Middle Road on the right side. Note: Middle Road becomes Tunxis Road as you approach the retreat center.
 From the East Take I-84 West towards Hartford to Exit 40. As you get off the exit, turn right onto Ridgewood Road. At the second light, turn left onto Tunxis Road. The retreat center is about one and one-half miles down on the left side, shortly past a lake.

Saturday, February 25, Winter Festival, Newport, RI 12 noon

Meet Steve your host at the Howard Johnson Lobby   351 West Main St (Middletown area) at noon to walk and enjoy the festivities of this annual winter event. Dinner will be at Brick Alley Pub. Check out the website www.newportevents/winterfest

Take 95 N Exit 3A to Route 138E (20 Min)
At large intersection take Left onto Rt1 North (2-3 min)

Hotel is on right side about 2 miles from Newport center.
